Weight Loss- A lifestyle Change vs Instant Gratification
“I want it now!”

Do you realize how America has become a country of instant gratification?
It’s probably for the fact that people don’t have time for anything these days… it’s go, go, go! Everything from fast food, credit cards, drive-thru, communication, and diets fall in this realm.
When it comes to weight loss, we have this idea that if we eat “well” for a week that we will lose 10-20 lbs. Hints why people send thousands of dollars on those diet pills, juice diets, cabbage soup diets, detox diets, cookie diet, and the list goes on. Yeah, you lose weight, but it’s not a lifestyle change. Once people complete the diet, they just go back to their original weight.
Weight lose is a journey, a lifestyle change… It takes times! If you want to lose weight and keep it off for good, you should be only losing 1-2 lbs a week.
So, why do we weight ourselves on a daily basis? INSTANT GRATIFICATION!
Weighing yourself daily can be sabotaging your diet!
Your weight fluctuates constantly and you can weigh more at night than you did in the morning, a downer if you stuck to your diet all day. Hide the scale and only weight yourself every 1-2 weeks… NO LESS!

TIP:
- Don’t weigh yourself too often use the tape measure and the fit of your clothes to monitor weight loss progress.
- BE PATIENT!
- Embrace life and enjoy the journey of weight loss!
