Ruth Rogers’ passion for fitness and health started at an early age being involved in several sports such as gymnastics and diving. Going into college she majored in Kinesiology and graduated from California Baptist University in Riverside California in 2007, specializing in exercise and nutrition. Currently she is going for yet another degree in Nursing at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ. As a wife, barista and nursing student, she finds it very important to find a balanced and healthy lifestyle, which is not easy by any means.

This blog is designed to help women strive to live a healthy lifestyle, allowing women of all ages to not only look their best but to live out their dreams and feel good about themselves. Hopefully you find much of the information in this website useful and motivational in helping you to develop your approach toward exercise and health.

    Ruth,

    I didn’t realize you had a blog! I found it, and I’m so excited about this! However, I did notice the muffin issue :( haha. It’s actually quite alright because I have given up gluten because it gives me acne!
    Your readers might want some books tips. “Nourishing Traditions” by Sally Fallon and “Fungus Link” by Kauffman are both great reads.

      I was just thinking about our mug and muffin dates the other day! I had to give up gluten for a while too. It was up setting my stomach. They thought I had ciliac disease, but it went away. Thanks for book tips. I will have to post one on it.

    I’m so depressed about the Navajo sandwhich at Cheesecake Factory!!
    I just had it for the first time and I LOVED it so much!! darn those calories…..I’m going to work out right now and it’s 11pm.

    Your photo is adorable and I love your bio. Sorry I was not sure how else to reach you regarding your seitan comment (from weeks ago, yes). The one I buy is unseasoned. Per 2 ounce serving, it’s 50 calories, 0 fat and 0 fiber.
